New Cases of Covid-19 in Nevada

On Monday, Nevada had reported 915 new cases of coronavirus and three deaths over the past three days, as the test positivity rate in the state continued its recent rush.

The updated data was covered from Friday to Sunday and was posted by the state’s Department of Health and Human Services on the state’s official coronavirus website, which showed the moving average of the last two weeks of the new Covid-19 cases growing to 243 every day and pushing the state’s total cases to a sum total of 332,529.

The death total in the state has increased to a sum total of 5,670.The two-week positivity rate of the state, which basically tracks the percentage of the people who are being tested for Covid-19 and the people who are found to be infected, increased by percentage points of 0.4 in the updates reported on Monday to 4.9 percent, according to the state data. The rate has been growing since it hit a recent low of 3.3 percent on June 9, 2021.

The data also displayed that there are around 355 people with either confirmed or supposed cases of Covid-19 who have been hospitalized in the state, along with an increase of 49 from the last update reported on Friday.The Southern Nevada Health District has reported 915 new cases in Clark County from Friday to Sunday, bringing the local cases to a sum total of 258,822. It had also been reported that all the three deaths in the state had brought the total number of deaths in the county to 4,485.
