The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Tuesday that around 80% of all Teacher Unions, school staff, and childcare workers in the US have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Approximately 8 million pre-K through 12th Grade workers had been vaccinated by the end of March. President Joe Biden issued a directive insisting the health department deploy vaccines to all the eligible school staff and childcare workers.”Our push to ensure that teachers, school staff, and childcare workers were vaccinated during March has paid off and paved the way for safer in-person learning,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said Tuesday.
It is important to go with the opinion of the majority of the teachers who differ from the stance of the unions. The Teacher Unions believe that despite the cash flow injection and vaccine prioritization, they are hindering the thought of returning to school. The thing that is troublesome across the state is that the union leaders are prioritizing their political agendas to demand benefits rather than going smooth in for the reopening of schools which could prosper the lives of many children. They are really going against the norm of helping out the students.
